WHERE IS KIDDIECORP LOCATED?

KiddieCorp’s national headquarters are located in San Diego, California. However, KiddieCorp’s Team Members and On-Site Managers are located throughout the U.S. and Canada.

WHO WORKS AT KIDDIECORP?

KiddieCorp is built on a handful of positions that keep things running smooth:

  • Team Members are experienced, local childcare providers who work one or more of KiddieCorp’s 150+ plus events per year.
  • On-Site Managers are experienced, local childcare professionals who supervise Team Members at events. On-Site Managers are often also teachers or day care managers and start as Team Members.
  • Corporate employees all work in KiddieCorp’s national headquarters in San Diego. Departments include Sales, Recruiting, Accounting, and Program Management.

HOW CAN I BECOME A TEAM MEMBER?

If you have childcare experience and are available to work, fill out our online application. Our Recruiting Department will keep your application on file for up to one year and will contact qualified applicants when necessary.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE ANY CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE?

Unfortunately, we require all Team Members to have at least one year of childcare experience and three references who can vouch to that. Build experience by babysitting or being a nanny, working at a daycare or school, or taking childhood development classes.

HOW CAN I GET PROMOTED TO ON-SITE MANAGER OR A CORPORATE POSITION?

KiddieCorp is always on the lookout for solid, enthusiastic Team Members to promote to a managerial or corporate position. Qualified individuals will be notified.

HOW OFTEN DO TEAM MEMBERS GET PAID?

KiddieCorp’s payroll system runs biweekly and all paychecks and reimbursements are mailed. That means you will receive a paycheck up to three weeks from the day you worked an event.

WHY HAVEN’T I HEARD ABOUT NEW KIDDIECORP EVENTS IN A WHILE?

KiddieCorp runs events across the U.S. and Canada all year long. That said, some cities (like Washington D.C.) see more “action” than others (like Chattanooga, TN). Team Members who list multiple work cities will find that they have more events to choose from.

WHY WOULD YOU FIRE A TEAM MEMBER?

KiddieCorp holds Team Members up to the highest standards. Team Members who repeatedly don’t meet these standards may be asked to leave. Being rude, risking the safety of a child, and simply not showing up to an assigned shift are all fire-able offenses.

I WAS A KIDDIECORP TEAM MEMBER SEVERAL YEARS AGO AND WOULD LIKE TO WORK FOR YOU AGAIN. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Returning Team Members should submit an online application and explain their situation to the Recruiting Department. Please include any information about why you stopped working. Qualified individuals will be approached.
