About KiddieCorp
Since 1986 KiddieCorp has provided high quality programs to children of all ages at conventions, trade shows, and corporate events throughout the United States and Canada. We operate over 150 events per year.

We proudly count the American Bar Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Autism Society of America as long-standing KiddieCorp clients.

Our goal is to provide your children with a comfortable, safe, and happy experience. KiddieCorp's company motto, "Safety first, fun a close second" is taken to heart by every one of our employees.

Security Procedures
KiddieCorp is extremely protective of our "attendees" and follows strict guidelines when checking them in and out of our programs. All children must be signed in and out by pre-authorized adults.We double check identity and authorization with both signatures and polaroid photos.

KiddieCorp managers are trained to handle the various types of emergencies and natural disasters that may occur in hotels and convention centers across the United States. We have emergency procedures and evacution routes pre-planned for your venue just in case. Our managers are also CPR and First Aid certified for your child's safety.

KiddieCorp carries a $5 million dollar liability insurance policy and all of our employees are bonded and insured. Since our opening in 1986, we've never had a claim or a lawsuit.

Staff to child ratios
KiddieCorp's staff to child ratios are higher than the strictest state (California) requirements to ensure that every child feels special and gets the attention they need. Standard ratios for KiddieCorp programs are:

1 staff : 2 infants
1 staff : 3 toddlers
1 staff : 5 school age
1 staff : 8 teenagers

Activities
KiddieCorp programs can serve children from infants all the way through the teen years. All activity planning is based around the program hours and ages of the children. We provide activities appropriate for each age group, using safe, sturdy equipment with which you can feel comfortable. Children can make their own choices within KiddieCorp's program. At KiddieCorp, children always have the freedom to select the activities in which they take part. They can choose to be active or opt for quieter play - either way, our team members follow their lead.

How we select our team members
We hire enthusiastic, qualified caregivers recruited locally from reputable sources such as: licensed child care centers, preschools, collegiate departments of early childhood education, elementary schools, and YMCA's. We dedicate a lot of time and care to recruiting and training these outstanding caregivers. They are legal employees of our company- not independent contractors. All payroll taxes are reported accordingly in each state we work in.

We call KiddieCorp staff "Team Members" and train them to work with each other, our managers, and our headquarters to maintain KiddieCorp standards and create a truly safe and enjoyable atmosphere for your children.

All KiddieCorp Team Members are carefully reviewed and screened to make sure they meet KiddieCorp's stringent requirements for employment. Our application process includes behavioral screening questions and a special set of reference questions designed specifically for screening temporary child care providers.

Once a candidate has passed initial screening and reference checking, they still have to attend an interview and training orientation. This is a highly interactive meeting where their skills and personality are put to the test. Our new Team Members also receive an employee manual to ensure they do everything "The KiddieCorp Way." This intensive screening and training process ensures that you receive the highest quality care and consistency in staffing from year to year and across the nation.
