Manager of the Year

We are very happy to announce Yvette Johnson as KiddieCorp's most recent Manager of the Year. The announcement was made at the 12th annual MTS (Management Training Seminar) in San Diego, which is our annual weekend of education and fellowship for all active KiddieCorp managers.

Yvette managed her first program for KiddieCorp over 10 years ago. In addition to providing a nurturing environment for children on-site, she also helps train new KiddieCorp program managers at MTS.

KiddieCorp president Chris Tempesta states, “We are always impressed with Yvette’s enthusiasm when encouraging others to grow and learn.”

Yvette’s background spans 20 years in a teaching capacity, whether it be as director of a preschool or more recently, teaching adults to exercise and live more healthy lives (she is a successful personal trainer in the Chicago area).

How does her job with KiddieCorp fit in with her busy life? Yvette says, “It allows me to travel to many interesting places, and work with children from all over the world. I have time for my children, and an exciting part-time career. What more could a mom want?”

A few of Yvette’s long-standing clients include the International Studies Association (ISA), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Surf Expo, and the Fancy Foods Show.  

It should come as no surprise that Yvette is one of KiddieCorp’s most requested on-site managers.
